The challenge heads for home!

See the blog Expatriatism for a list of the other worthy participants, including my artist niece, and links to their daily drawings.

Day 10

Day 10: Our assignment was to draw a Home Town Memory.

Home Town Memory. You mean my entire life up to age 19? And lots of memories since then? Wow.

Yesterday I had to admit I had no “spirit animal.” Today, I could draw thousands of home town memories. I’m back in the game.

Innumerable memories. So many good ones. But I picked one of the best and drew that.

Points for those who can guess what the “memory” actually is.

BONUS points for anyone who can explain the guy on the left with the hat.

  1. Don says:

Very well drawn, good sir. Alors, my official guess is that you went to see Airport 1975 at Grossmont Cinema, and there was at some point a barbershop quartet involved. Am I way off the mark?

  2. Freebie says:

I’m gonna guess that you were a part of a barbershop quartet?

  3. Bill Davis says:

The straw hat was what the servers wore at Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlor, the after-date snack after our first-date movie. #prizeforlatestfollowupcomment !
