30-Day Drawing Challenge: Day 14

The challenge goes down the drain!

See the blog Expatriatism for a list of the other worthy participants, including my artist niece, and links to their daily drawings.

Day 14: Our assignment was to draw our Worst Punishment.

I took this to mean, “Worst possible punishment which hypothetically could be imposed.” I supposed you could take it as “worse punishment you’ve ever experienced.

Anyway, you can see that the absolute worst would be a life of plumbing repair, compounded by having no music allowed.

‘Nuff said.

Plumbing work doesn’t sound so bad – then again, I know very little about it. The ‘no music’ bit of it though, that’s just cruel (and random and arbitrary). Not even headphones?

Anyway, I’ll trade you your plumbing work for my burro pen. What say you? 😀

    • Bill Davis says:

Hmmm. While I have never done the uh… dirty side of farming, I still might make the trade. The contents of much plumbing is actually quite similar to what is found on the barnyard floor. And the main hassle with plumbing (besides having to fold yourself upside down under a sink) is this: you’re never done with plumbing. Water will leak/seep through any opening more than one water molecule wide. That fact, added to the whole idea of water pressure gives this plumber’s version of Murphy’s Law: “It will still leak” and Bob (the plumber’s) Maxim: “You will never be done.”
