Gone Country

Just wrote a country song:

My Girl’s Gone Country, But I’m Still Rock ‘n Roll

It’s based on real life.

After 30+ years of marriage, my wife got into Country Music, which I had always made a point of despising. In fact I called the phrase an oxymoron.

Now I had a dilemma… but a savvy wife. She broke ground with rock ‘n rollish Keith Urban, then seduced me with Josh Turner… and little by little, whaddya know? I wouldn’t say I’m into Country Music across the board, but there is definitely some of it which we share.

Josh’s Your Man and his Will You Go With Me? are new theme songs for us in our crazy, ’round-the-globe life.

So my girl went Country, and now I’m not quite so (exclusively) rock ‘n roll.

Oh, and hey Keith, call me for the rights. I think you’re the man to sing it…
